The MiQ Standard is a differentiated gas initiative that grades natural gas based on its methane intensity, operator practices, and use of leak monitoring technology. Highwood worked closely with MiQ to simulate the Standard’s fugitive methane reduction impact across the supply chain.

The MiQ Standard drives climate action: creating incentives for the needed drastic reduction of methane emissions across the oil and gas sector, by delivering a thriving market for independently certified gas.
