Highwood is looking to expand its team and is currently seeking a Junior Administrator. As Junior Administrator, you will assist with supporting a team of result-driven individuals with general administration duties. The role includes general office administrative tasks including data entry, assistance with payables and receivables, help with event planning and a variety of other tasks that ensure the smooth day to day operation of the business. The ideal candidate is detail orientated, collaborative, and organized, with a strong capacity to learn quickly and adapt to the needs of a growing team.

  • 1+ years administrative experience
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Previous experience supporting busy teams in result-driven environments
  • Customer service experience


    In this role, some of your responsibilities will be:

    • Enter hours for timesheets
    • Enter invoices for payment
    • Prepare employee expenses for payment
    • Enter timesheets and review time
    • Generate reports for invoicing
    • Manage general email inbox
    • Assist with planning and organizing team-building events
    • Provide backup for the senior administrator
    • Other tasks as necessary to support the team


    The position is based in Calgary, Alberta


  • This is a full-time hybrid position with the flexibility to work some days from home but the expectation of at least three days per week in our downtown office
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience
  • The successful candidate must be legally able to work in Canada
