Emission Rate

A measure of how quickly a pollutant is being introduced to the atmosphere. May be variable throughout an emission event. Typically expressed in either mass per unit time (e.g., kg/hr) or volume per unit time (e.g., SCF/hr) and may include statistical terms such as mean, median, minimum, and maximum.
